Lakewood Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. The population was 11,323 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Port St. Lucie Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 10,458 people, 4,562 households, and 3,166 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,561.6 people per square mile (602.7/km²). There were 5,124 housing units at an average density of 765.1/sq mi (295.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 91.81% White, 5.28% African American, 0.36% Native American, 0.62% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 0.67% from other races, and 1.20% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.54% of the population.

There were 4,562 households out of which 22.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.2% were married couples living together, 7.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.6% were non-families. 25.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 2.71.
